The Voices of Career and Technical Education Teachers

Between March 1 and May 5, 2014, the AFT educational issues department conducted an online survey of K-12 CTE teachers who either are members of the AFT or have attended AFT conferences and professional development offerings. The survey sought to learn the range of CTE courses currently being taught, the kinds of CTE partnerships schools are establishing, and educators’ views of CTE in preparing students for college and careers.
