U.S. RATIFICATION OF THE U.N.WOMEN'S RIGHTS CONVENTION

WHEREAS, the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women was adopted by the U.N. General Assembly in December 1979; and

WHEREAS, the Senate of the United States has not ratified that Convention:

RESOLVED, that this convention call upon all U.S. senators to vote, immediately, for ratification of the U.N. Women's Rights Convention. (Executive Council)
