TEACHING ABOUT THE LABOR MOVEMENT

WHEREAS, teaching about the role and contributions of working people and the labor movement is often neglected:

RESOLVED, that the AFT encourages its locals and state federations to seek to secure the passage of resolutions by the state legislatures calling upon all members of the education community to include teaching about the role and contributions of working people and the labor movement as an integral part of the school curriculum.
