SALARY RESEARCH FOR STATE EMPLOYEE LOCALS

WHEREAS, adequate research for state employee salary data is often not available for state employee locals to use when engaged in bargaining salary and benefits; and

WHEREAS, the AFT does provide extensive teacher salary information that assists its teacher locals in bargaining:

RESOLVED, that the AFT use its resources to conduct pay and salary surveys to obtain state employee classification and compensation data, or hire an independent management consultant group to conduct this research as needed.
