AFT Resolution

PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND CIVIL RIGHTS LAWS

RESOLVED, that this convention instruct the national office and call upon all affiliates to support the efforts of the appropriate federal agency to strengthen procedures for determining whether some private schools violate civil rights laws and should therefore be denied tax exemption, by calling upon all members of Congress to oppose any measures to weaken such efforts.
