AFT Resolution

OVERSEAS SCHOOLS

WHEREAS, the American Federation of Teachers has rendered outstanding service to teachers in the Overseas Dependent Schools; and

WHEREAS, the AFT has been able to enlist the support of the labor and government leaders in its efforts on behalf of teachers in the Overseas Dependent Schools:

RESOLVED, that the American Federation of Teachers continue to assist the Overseas Federation of Teachers in eliminating unfair labor practices by management officials in the Overseas Dependent Schools; and

RESOLVED, that the American Federation of Teachers continue its support of legislation for the improvement of Overseas Dependent Schools as recommended by the investigating committee.
