MORE EFFECTIVE SCHOOLS

WHEREAS, the American Federation of Teachers is the original sponsor of the More Effective Schools Program; and

WHEREAS, the More Effective Schools Program has produced exceptional educational results; and

WHEREAS, the More Effective Schools Program provides improved educational opportunities for disadvantaged youngsters:

RESOLVED, that the American Federation of Teachers redouble its efforts to secure federal legislation as outlined in the More Effective Schools bill.
