MIGRANT SECONDARY STUDENTS

WHEREAS, many children of migrant workers do not complete education requirements because they accompany their parents during the migrant work season which may differ from the school schedule:

RESOLVED, that the American Federation of Teachers urge local, state and federal education agencies to adopt policies to aid migrant students in the credit accumulation and credit transfer process. (Executive Council)
