FUNCTIONING OF THE U.S. OFFICE OF EDUCATION

WHEREAS, the U.S. Office of Education has a central responsibility in the field of the development of quality, integrated education:

RESOLVED, that this Convention ask the U.S. Office of Education to assist all teachers in their efforts to achieve quality, integrated education through the following measures:

Conduct workshops in techniques of dealing with problems of intergroup relations in school life;

Serve as a clearinghouse for the systematic exchange of experiences of teachers and administrators in dealing with problems of intergroup relations;

Prepare and distribute systematically to all teachers, materials designed to help them recognize and solve problems of intergroup relations in education.
