AFT Resolution

ENFORCEMENT OF TITLE IX

WHEREAS, the 1975 AFT Convention passed resolutions to publicize the Title IX anti-sexism regulations to its members, and to support the Title IX regulations with some proposed changes; and

WHEREAS, the Title IX regulations went into effect on July 21, 1975, as scheduled:

RESOLVED, that the AFT urge state federations and locals to file complaints under Title IX for failure of their state and local boards to comply with the law.
