AFT Resolution

BOYCOTT 1980 MOSCOW OLYMPICS

WHEREAS, the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan violates the spirit of international cooperation which should be the hallmark of the Olympic games:

RESOLVED, the AFT calls upon the U.S. Olympic Commission to help locate an alternative site so that participants from America and elsewhere will still have a chance to demonstrate their athletic skills. (Executive Council)
