TRIBUTE TO FLORA ROGGE

WHEREAS, strong, dedicated leaders are among the greatest assets of our union; and

WHEREAS, Flora Rogge dedicated her life to education and was an active union leader at the local, state and national levels; and

WHEREAS, Flora Rogge served as AFT vice-president from 1976 to 1982:

RESOLVED, that this 67th annual convention of the American Federation of Teachers pause to pay tribute to her leadership in the teacher union movement.
