AFT Resolution

RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING TOBEY PRINZ

WHEREAS, Tobey Prinz was a charter member of local 1 and a member of the American Federation of Teachers for over 40 years; and

WHEREAS, Tobey Prinz gave unstintingly of her time, effort and commitment to union causes wherever and whatever they were; and

WHEREAS, Tobey Prinz was a charter member of the Chicago CLUW Chapter; and

WHEREAS, Tobey's commitment to principles of democracy, union militancy and human dignity for working men and women were a model for the American Federation of Teachers:

RESOLVED, that this convention of the American Federation of Teachers observe a minute of silence in honor of her passing and in memory of her spirit.
