AFT Resolution

THE LABOR HERITAGE FOUNDATION

WHEREAS, the Labor Heritage Foundation was formed in 1983, and its headquarters are in the AFL-CIO building; and

WHEREAS, the labor Heritage Foundation sponsored the sixth annual Great Labor Song Exchange at the George Meany Center for Labor Studies, with great success, in June, 1984; and

WHEREAS, the efforts of the Labor Heritage Foundation deserve maximum publicity, encouragement and support throughout the labor movement:

RESOLVED, that this AFT convention instructs the AFT publication editors to give adequate coverage to the activities of the Labor Heritage Foundation, and urges all AFT locals to establish communication with it for the purpose of advancing their mutual interests and organized labor in general.
