AFT Resolution

LOCAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEES

WHEREAS, the efficient development and implementation of programs is essential to the growth of quality integrated education; and

WHEREAS, the activity of Human Rights Committees in all AFT locals can be of great value in this work:

RESOLVED, that this Convention call upon all AFT Locals to establish Human Rights Committees without delay and see that they function actively; and

RESOLVED, that the National Office undertake to assist the local Human Rights Committees through federal periodicals, special publications, exchange of information, and in all other ways possible.
