AFT Resolution

PARAPROFESSIONAL LITERATURE

WHEREAS, the American Federation of Teachers continues to organize and unionize paraprofessionals; and

WHEREAS, the literature used is for teachers; and

WHEREAS, teacher literature is not always appropriate for paraprofessional use:

RESOLVED, that the American Federation of Teachers develop and print leaflets, and informational pamphlets designed only for paraprofessionals; and

RESOLVED, that this literature be made available as soon as possible.
