DESEGREGATION AND EQUALITY IN EDUCATION

WHEREAS, the American Federation of Teachers has been at the forefront in the struggle for school desegregation; and

WHEREAS, at the 1976 Convention the American Federation of Teachers adopted a resolution dealing with school desegregation:

RESOLVED, that this body reaffirm the AFT policy on school desegregation.
