AFFIRMATIVE ACTION HIRING PRACTICES INCLUDING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

WHEREAS, the American Federation of Teachers membership is diverse:

RESOLVED, that AFT will in its hiring practices reflect its membership; and

RESOLVED, that the AFT executive council adopt an affirmative action hiring policy, including persons with disabilities under the terms of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
