Please explain exactly how you plan to create jobs? Explain your plan for turning the country in the "right direction".

Why is the Republican Party focused on passing controversial social issues as opposed to passing a jobs plan? Many public sector employees have lost their jobs which has increased the unemployment rate. How do they explain this to the American people?

Do you think that the founders of this country would agree with the supreme court that corporations should be able to spend unlimited sums to influence elections? Do you agree with the supreme court's 5 to 4 ruling that corporations and unions have the same right to free speech as people, even when the granting of that right has the potential to overwhelm the electoral process?

Why is it okay for Senators and military to have single payer healthcare ( the "payer"being the tax payers), yet it is evil socilisim if the taxpayers themselves have it? Why is it okay to lie to the American people everyday trying to convince them you care about the average person, when it is clear the whole GOP only cares for money in their pockets and corporate rule?!

I,among many of the Middle Class,are tired of bearing the burden of lazy Americans who may or may not be new to our country. The deficits in this country are due to the moneymakers who seem to benefit in letting people soak off the system as well as gaining tax breaks and the ability to maneuver assets in their favor. Why is it that the people who play by the rules end up taking on the burden of those who are above the law, know how to work the system and cover up what they committed unlawfully. The patriotism in this country will certainly wain once again unless the candidates can hold those responsible for this mess accountable.

Why do you want to make life more difficult for seniors who have worked and paid into Social Security and Medicare and try to gut it?

Do any of your republican(s) who get any money from AFT.. or NEA or CTA ?? If not you should ... I want to vote for you and for you to receive money from them in your campaigns.. They won't write me back with an answer..?? do they send any money to republicans... They have my membership.. and I would like them to support you..thru them for me.. judi

If you believe that the Federal government should not have a role in public education, how would you ensure that all children in the nation would have access to a equal and fair education as guaranteed in the 14th amendment?

Why is it so important to destroy the UNIONS? Do the republicans need to privatize everything? The middle class has shrunk and now there are more people in the poverty level. What and when do you think jobs will be available for more than slave wages?

After 30+ years of wage and quality of life stagnation when are the hundreds of millions going to go from the "soon to haves" back to the standards of living their parents and grandparents had? If that requires valuing work more than having capital are you willing to legislate to protect those who actually work as we did in generation's past?

Why should the large number of union members who used to vote Republican for personal reasons (abortion, gun control, etc) continue to vote Republican now that your party has clearly abandoned them and attacked their livelihood? Your anti-educator policies have also alienated many spouses and family members of teachers. They have been vilified by your party and would be fools to continue to support it.

Will you work for Constitutional amendments that will place term limits on elected officials, Will you work for ELECTED Public Official pensions and Health care that can accumulate or be used ONLY when in Office,Limit Lobbyist control of elected officials??

NCLB did not work. What will you do to revise the way our students are assessed?

Given that Wall Street and D.C. are so obviously "joined at" the purse strings, what do you intend to do for education that would result in less central and more local control of public schools? Said differently, what will you do to stop the erosion of state's rights in favor of federal control; you know, stop using tax payer monies for coercive purposes?

Do you agree that absolutely no American child should be without comprehensive healthcare? If you disagree, have your children ever been without it?

After having taught math in NYC public high schools for 30 years, I have observed that failing schools always tend to have poor leadership rather than weak teachers. What is your plan to ensure that principals are excellent managers and "master teachrs"?

Why aren't you doing enough to help the middle class? Too many people are unemployed and looking for jobs. Those of us working are financially assisting relatives and partners. How are fathers that have been laid off, not receiving unemployment benefits suppose to pay their child support, rent, bills and eat? Broward Public School Teachers haven't received a raise in 6 years. How can teachers survive when our salary doesn't catch up with the high standard of living, and we use some of our salary to buy school supplies?

Why is it that representatives, governors, and other law makers who don't have a degree in education, nor have taught in a public school setting where classrooms are overcrowded, inappropriate behavior has no consequences, and parents aren't held accountable, can make life-changing educational decisions that decide the fate of the children and our jobs. Educators don't pretend to know their jobs, but, yet, they pretend to know ours. If you really want educational reform, why don't you come ask the experts?

What is the ETHICAL basis for the emphasis on budget reductions for public services and vigorous debt reduction considering the recent history of the Republican (Bush, Ford, Reagon) administrations' masssive (military) spending sprees?

What would you do to equalize the % of income tax paid by the middle classand the very rich?

Are you in favor of privitizing public education or public education services? (bus transportation; cafeteria workers, etc.)

Why do you expect Teachers to not receive raises, back pay owed & to work for nothing while none of you do? Why do you say we are unqualified to do our jobs when you take away all the funding that pays for the materials for Teachers to be able do their job. Why do you blame Teachers for Not fully educating children however don't into account the numerous absences of the child. However there are no repercussions for the parents in fear of penalizing the child. Why do you say all these things and not support the teachers but expect us to vote you in come election time!

Where is the money to support education for our future generations going to come from? While some parents don't have the knowledge to teach their children or the dedication to get them to school on time and prepared to learn, how can teachers be held accountable for their progress or test scores?

Why are you opposed to a national health care option when so many Americans (approximately 50 million) are going without health care due to its cost and unavailability?

How will you unite the party and rally voters to defeat Obama and secure majorities in both chambers of congress and how can I help?
