    The AFT, joining with Save the Children's efforts to actively engage students in the fight to end child poverty, developed classroom activities and resources for preK-12th-grade teachers that echo Save the Children's core values and support its Valentine's Day card contest.
  • Calling All Social Studies Teachers: Become a Civic Voices Fellow
    Join a worldwide effort to preserve the past and inspire future generations through Civic Voices, a project of the AFT Educational Foundation. Apply by Dec. 4, 2009 to take part in Civil Rights Seminars in Birmingham or Boston OR to take part in international exchange programs to explore important social movements in one of seven partner countries (Poland, Northern Ireland, Philippines, South Africa, Mongolia, Georgia, and Columbia).
