All dues-paying members of the AFT are automatically covered for $100,000 for the loss of life resulting from a felonious assault that occurs while you are at work or on a work assignment. This is provided at no cost to all AFT members by the Benefit Trust.

If you learn of a member that has lost his or her life as a result of a workplace violence incident, please have the local leadership contact AFT + to initiate the claim process.
