AFT + Vision Program

Without a vision plan, an exam, glasses and frames can cost $275 or more. Luckily, the AFT + Vision Plan is an affordable solution to vision care for yourself and your family.

The AFT vision program is available to individual members or dependent family members not covered by employer-sponsored vision plans. You can purchase just the AFT Vision Plan, or along with the AFT Limited Medical Plan.

Cost:  $5.89¹ a month for a member, $10.69 for a member plus one other household member and $18.14 for a family.

In-Network Benefits

UnitedHealthcare Vision offers in-network benefits at more than 30,000 private practice providers and retail chain locations.

When you sign-on to this plan and use a network provider, you don't have to submit a claim or wait for a reimbursement. Your discount is applied right at the provider's office.
